You Were Already Called
There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she realizes she’s been waiting. Waiting to be invited. Waiting to be validated. Waiting to be called into rooms God already assigned her to walk into. And the truth? Most of us don’t even realize we’re doing it. We think we’re being humble. We think we’re being patient. But sometimes we’re just shrinking.
Faith doesn’t look like hesitation. Faith looks like movement.
Some of you have been anointed for leadership for years, but you’re still asking, “Am I ready?” You’re still comparing. Still measuring your voice against someone else’s platform. Still downplaying the authority God already placed inside of you. But calling doesn’t need confirmation from the crowd. It requires obedience.
Formation is uncomfortable. It stretches you. It exposes your fears. It challenges your old identity. But that stretching is not rejection — it’s preparation. You don’t become powerful the day people recognize you. You become powerful the day you recognize yourself.
When God calls you, He doesn’t ask the room for permission. He places something in you and waits for you to trust Him enough to walk it out. That means showing up before you feel qualified. Speaking before you feel polished. Leading before you feel “ready.” Because readiness isn’t a feeling — it’s a decision.
Too many women of faith are sitting on gifts because they think humility means invisibility. It doesn’t. True humility says, “This isn’t about me — but I will obey.” And obedience requires courage.
You don’t need to be chosen.
You need to respond.
This is the shift from shrinking to standing. From waiting to walking. From questioning to aligning. When you understand that you were already called, you stop asking if you belong — and you start building like you do.
And that’s where transformation begins.
